1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using the MeetRoll Google Meet Add-on ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

MeetRoll is an add-on application for Google Meet designed to help teachers, instructors, trainers, and meeting organizers monitor and record meeting attendance. The Service retrieves participant attendance sessions from the Google Meet API, merges multiple join/leave events, computes total active attendance durations, and saves organized attendance sheets directly to your Google Drive.

3. Google Workspace & Account Requirements

To use MeetRoll, you must have an active Google account with appropriate permissions to access Google Meet and Google Drive. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Permitted Use & User Responsibilities

You agree to use the Service solely in compliance with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws and regulations. You are solely responsible for:

• Obtaining any necessary consent from participants prior to logging or recording meeting attendance, in accordance with applicable privacy and education laws (such as GDPR, FERPA, or equivalent local regulations).
• Ensuring that your use of the Service does not infringe upon the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party.
• Using the Service in a manner that complies with Google’s Acceptable Use Policies and Google Meet Terms of Service.

5. Intellectual Property

All right, title, and interest in and to MeetRoll, including its code, interface design, branding, and documentation, remain the exclusive property of its developers. Subject to these Terms, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, educational, or business purposes.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR UNINTERRUPTED AVAILABILITY.

While we strive to ensure accurate attendance computation and reliable Google Drive synchronization, we cannot guarantee that the Service will always be error-free, uninterrupted, or that network disruptions or changes in Google APIs will not affect attendance capture.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE DEVELOPERS OR CONTRIBUTORS OF MEETROLL BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

8. Termination

You may terminate your use of the Service at any time by uninstalling the add-on and revoking its access in your Google Account security settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service at our discretion if these Terms are violated.

9. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes become effective immediately upon being posted to this page. Your continued use of the Service following any modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
